Olba is located on the banks of the River Mijares, around 59 km from the capital Teruel, 659 metres above sea level. In 2023, there were 279 registered inhabitants, although the population multiplies in summer and at festival times.
The hidden valley of Olba is one of the most beautiful and unknown natural landscapes in Aragón. The valley is part of Natura 2000, a European ecological network of areas for the conservation of biodiversity, and belongs to the protected area “Los Estrechos del río Mijares” (The Straits of the River Mijares), which captivates every visitor.
The life of the valley is characterised by the river, which is why families settled on its banks and gave their names to the neighbourhoods and villages we know today.
The Olba Valley is an exceptional place to enjoy pure, unspoilt nature. Olba is a destination for those who appreciate and respect nature, who want to observe and learn from the rural environment. Masía Babel is a house located in the Los Lucas neighbourhood of Olba.

El Molino de Olba is the old village mill, restored and converted into a hostel.
